Dan Hajek is a 4 time state qualifier for the IHSA State Wrestling Meet and is the 1993 IHSA State Wrestling Champion at 119 lbs despite several dislocated shoulder injuries in the previous year. He also competed in Cross Country for four years and was the 1993 recipient of the Carlin Nalley Foundations Brian Piccolo Award, recognizing him as the top male athlete of his class. Dan's work ethic and leadership in the wrestling room was unmatched. Dan went on to attend the United States Naval Academy where he wrestled and achieved many accolades in categories like sharp shooting. Dan graduated an officer and continued his military career in the USMC.
