Rebecca Dzuricsko

From 1997-2001, Rebecca Dzuricsko was one of the preeminent clarinet players in the state. At Lisle, she served as clarinet section leader for all four years. She participated in the ILMEA District Honor Band for two years and the District Honors Orchestra her senior year. These honors feature the top musicians in the western suburbs. Eventually, Rebecca was awarded a seat in the All-State Honors Band her junior year, and in the All State Orchestra her senior year, making her an all state musician. She was heavily featured in her Symphonic Band performances during her senior year. During the spring of her senior year, Rebecca participated in the North American Music Festival in Virginia Beach, where she was recognized as the best soloist of the festival. In her time at Lisle, Rebecca also participated in cheerleading for all four years, softball, Key Club, TASC, NHS and the Spring Musical. She also participated in the Protege Philharmonic, the West Suburban Symphony, along with other various performance groups in the neighboring areas. Rebecca attended DePaul University on a music scholarship, obtaining a B.A. in Music Education
